Organic Borecole – Westland Winter
This variety has a large spreading plant habit with curled blue green leaves. It is very winter hardy and high yielding for cropping from October to March.
Sow outdoors in a well-prepared seed bed 1.5cm deep in rows 15cm apart. As the seedlings appear, thin to 7cm apart. When they are about 15cm tall, transplant to the growing site 60cm apart, planting so the lowest leaves are just above the soil.
