Spinach – New Zealand Spinach
Introduced in 1722, this variety have strong plants which resist heat and drought. The spinach can be picked over a long period. However, is not frost hardy.
Soak seeds for 12 hours before sowing. Sow in trays under glass at 15°C, later sowings direct into growing site 2cm deep.
