Shallot – Matador
This is a high yielding globe variety that produces deep red shallots. They are often harvested before sets.
Sow in modules under cover. Germinate between 5 – 30C. They can be sown anytime from January onwards but the ideal is from mid February to March. Plant out after hardening off.
