This creamy -white fruited okra is a novelty for the European gardener and offers an alternative to the usual green fruited types. The additional plant vigour of this variety provides a certain degree of cold tolerance for the northern European climate but still requires protected cultivation in the greenhouse.
Sow from February onwards in pots. Will need heat to germinate. Plant out in greenhouse from May onwards. Do not allow the plants to get too cold as they will develop a purple tint and growth will slow down.
