Broccoli Purple Sprouting – Santee
A dual purpose variety for summer, autumn or spring harvesting. bushy plants produce large, tasty purple spears over a long picking period.
Sow from April to June
Sow thinly in a well prepared seed bed, 2cm (1″) deep in rows 15cm (6″) apart. As the seedlings appear, thin to 7cm (3″) apart. When about 10cm (4″) tall transplant to the growing site about 45cm (18″) apart, planting them 2cm (1″) deeper than they were in the seed bed.
February to March or June to November (Depending on sowing time)
