Rudbeckia laciniata
Rudbeckia laciniata is a hardy perennial will reach 1.8m high, each of the long stems will give you a display of large golden flowers with a black cone centre. The plant will start flowering from early summer and continue through to the autumn. A great plant for the back of the border.
Sow the seeds immediately is a good soil-based compost. Cover the seeds with a fine grit. Place the seeds in a cool spot and keep watered. Often the chill of winter is need to provoke spring germination.
